CBD

How much CBD do I need to take?

We will all react to CBD differently as our endocannabinoid system will work vary from person to person. We always suggest starting with a small dose and gradually increasing if needed. We advise you do not exceed the recommended daily dosage of 70mg.

Can I take CBD if I am on medication?

We always advise you check with a doctor or healthcare professional before using CBD as it can, very occasionally, interact with other medicines. You should always stick to the recommended dose.

Does CBD help medical conditions?

For anything medical-related or specific conditions we always advise you to speak to your doctor or a healthcare professional - especially if you are already taking medication.

CBD doesn't have to be used for specific complaints though - it can be of great benefit in helping maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Will using CBD make me high?

Although CBD is a derivative of the cannabis plant, it doesn't contain THC - this is the element in cannabis that causes the "high" sensation so you won't have the same reaction as you would smoking cannabis. It actually offers positive changes in the body without any impact on your mental clarity.

Is CBD safe?

Yes, according to all current studies, CBD has a good safety profile and it is completely legal.

Is CBD legal?

Yes, CBD (Cannabidiol) is legal as hemp is legal in the UK. Hemp is completely safe, natural, and non-toxic. It is not a controlled substance and can therefore be distributed and purchased without restriction.

Will I fail a drugs test if I use CBD?

Drugs tests will detect any traces of THC (this is the element in cannabis that is not present in CBD), so no. It will not be detected in a drugs test. Many CBD or hemp products are sold with only trace amounts of THC (less than 0.2%). As CBD is non-psychoactive (doesn't impair your mental functions) it is not being tested for.

We do always recommend not to exceed daily usage of 70mg of CBD. Exceptionally high intake of CBD (far in excess of this) could possibly be detected - but will still have no impact on mental clarity.

Is CBD addictive?

Whilst you can become addicted to cannabis, CBD is made from hemp and is not addictive. It is THC which is the ingredient that can cause addiction - CBD contains no (or only trace) amounts of THC.

The World Health Organization state that "... in humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential” and that “CBD is well-tolerated and safe for human consumption.”
